CVD Diamond Coated Dies

Nano-diamond coated drawing die is a new product, which is based on cemented carbide and coated with nano-diamond coating on the surface of the inner hole of the die by chemical vapor method. The utility die has a lot of advantages such as smooth surface and small fricton coefficient and so on.

Brief Introduction

Because the surface particle size has reached the nanometer level and introduced the most advanced technology, therefore, the product surface finish is very high and the friction coefficient is small, which reduces the loss of electrical energy. In addition, because the surface is nano-sized particles, it has good hydrophilicity and lubricity, which greatly reduces the cost of wire drawing lubricant and saves metal materials. The hole diameter size range is very suitable for drawing large-sized wire rods. When drawing copper-aluminum wire, low-carbon steel wire, and medium-carbon steel wire, the die life is more than 20 times that of cemented carbide die.

Product Application

·Drawing non-ferrous metals
It can be lubricated with water when drawing non-ferrous metal materials, which also greatly saves raw materials and reduces the cost of drawing lubricants. And the surface of the drawn wire is smooth and the color is normal.


·Drawing welding wires and tubes

The inner hole of the mold is bright: self-lubricating, the surface friction coefficient is small, the surface of the wire produced is high, non-stick material, the quality of the finished wire is good, and the equipment loss can be reduced at the same time.


·Drawing copper-aluminum wire, low-carbon steel wire and medium-carbon steel wire
When drawing copper-aluminum wire, low-carbon steel wire and medium-carbon steel wire, the die life of the nano-coated wire drawing die is more than 20 times that of the carbide wire drawing die, and the consistency of the drawn wire is good, while also improving Production efficiency reduces the work intensity of operators.
