Resistance wire drawing die
A wire drawing die made of a fine-grained polycrystalline gold stellite blank can be used to draw a key chrome resistance wire of a small size like 0.0004 inch, and the produced wire has more uniform electrical resistance characteristics. Many companies around the world have replaced traditional rigid metal and diamond molds with brushed touches made of polycrystalline diamond blanks (PDC). The successful application range from billet blanking to drawing black and colored wire has the unique advantages of being able to extend tool life, increase productivity, reduce overall wire drawing cost and make wire quality very uniform. These advantages have been extended to the field of pull-up ultrafilaments with the advent of fine-grained polycrystalline blanks.
